Nilay Cennetkuşu — Biography

Nilay Cennetkuşu was born on 24 November 1984 in Ankara. She works as an actress, radio host and voice artist. A graduate of the acting department at Ankara University's Faculty of Language, History and Geography, she built her stage experience in theatre, acting in plays such as Hastalık Hastası, Yedi Kocalı Hürmüz, Neredeyse Kadın Elizabeth and Sırça Kümes, and directing İki Efendinin Uşağı and Yalancı Aranıyor.

Her first feature film was Sinyora Enrica ile İtalyan Olmak, in which she played Maria. The film competed at the 47th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival and won awards in two categories. On television she appeared in the series Eşref Saati, Halil İbrahim Sofrası, Ay Tutulması, Yahşi Cazibe, Kanıt and Muhteşem Yüzyıl.

Dubbing is a major part of her career: she has worked on the Turkish versions of productions such as Madagascar, Tinker Bell, Furious 7, Jurassic World, Mad Max: Fury Road, Inside Out, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
