Oğuzhan Aydoğan — Biography

Oğuzhan Aydoğan was born on 4 February 1997 in Marl, Germany, and holds both German and Turkish citizenship. He started out at TSV Marl-Hüls and developed in Schalke 04's academy before joining Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer for 2014-15. With Dortmund's under-19 side he won the Westphalia Cup in 2015 and, in 2016, both the West division and the German U-19 league. He can play across the attacking line and is most effective on the right wing.

At the end of that season he moved to Beşiktaş for a fee of about 200,000 euros, signing on 5 August 2016. With the first team crowded, he played for the club's under-21 side and scored several goals there. In August 2017 he was loaned for a year to the German third-tier club Karlsruher SC, and in February 2018 it was reported that he had returned to Beşiktaş. In June 2020 the Turkish press was still asking why he was not being played.

He joined Menemenspor in January 2022 and Düzcespor in August 2023. At one stage of his career he also played for Bashkimi 1947.
