Oğuzhan Türk — Biography

Oğuzhan Türk was born on 17 May 1986 in Kampen, Netherlands, to a family of Turkish origin, and holds both Turkish and Dutch citizenship. A midfielder, he began his career in the youth ranks of DOS Kampen before moving to the SC Heerenveen academy, turning professional in the Eredivisie in 2005. Unable to break into Heerenveen's first team, he was loaned to Go Ahead Eagles, where he spent two seasons before signing for SC Cambuur.

He signed for VVV-Venlo in July 2012, and when that contract expired in June 2014 he moved to Gaziantepspor in Turkey. After the Gaziantepspor deal was terminated in December 2015, he joined TFF First League side Adanaspor and won the league title with the club at the end of the 2015-16 season. He returned to the Netherlands in 2016 to sign with FC Emmen, then moved to Şanlıurfaspor in 2017 and to Bodrumspor in 2019, retiring as a player when his contract there expired in July 2021.

Capped for the Netherlands under-16 side, Türk moved into coaching after retiring from playing: he was an assistant coach for Bodrum's U19 team in 2022, joined Şanlıurfaspor's youth coaching staff in 2024, and was promoted to assistant coach of the senior team in April 2025.
