Okan Aydın — Biography

Okan Aydın was born on 8 May 1994 in Leverkusen, Germany, into a family of Turkish origin. As a youth player he represented Germany at several age levels before later choosing to play for Turkey's U19 and U20 national sides, carrying a footballing history shared between the two countries. Standing 1.71 m tall, he was developed in the youth ranks of Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

Over his professional career he has worn the colors of clubs including Eskişehirspor, the reserve side of Bayer 04 Leverkusen, and the German club Rot-Weiß Erfurt, building a reputation as an attacking player. Born in Germany yet capped for Turkey's youth teams, he belongs to the group of players who grew up between the two footballing nations.
