Okan Deniz

Okan Deniz — Biography

Okan Deniz is a Turkish footballer, born 20 May 1994 in the Korkut district of Muş, who plays as a winger. He began his career in Bursaspor's youth system in 2007 and signed a professional contract in 2010, which brought him into the club's A2 reserve squad. He made his first official appearance on 28 July 2011 in a UEFA Europa League third qualifying round match against FK Gomel, and while he featured mostly for the reserve side, he was occasionally included in first-team squads — a run that made him the youngest player to appear in European competition in Bursaspor's club history.

In December 2012 he signed a five-year contract with the club and was noted as one of the league's youngest goalscorers at the time. He earned 18 caps combined for Turkey's under-16 and under-17 teams, scoring 4 goals, and went on to represent Turkey at the 2013 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. One of ten children, he has named Didier Drogba as his footballing idol.

Later in his career he played for Osmanlıspor, then for Amed SK, leaving the latter club in July 2023 before joining İnegölspor that same month.
