Özer Hurmacı — Biography

Özer Hurmacı was born on 20 November 1986 in Kassel, Germany, and holds dual Turkish-German citizenship. A two-footed player who operated on the wing and in attacking midfield, he represented clubs including Kasımpaşa, Ankaraspor, Trabzonspor, Fenerbahçe and Bursaspor during his playing career, and earned two senior caps for the Turkey national team in 2010 in addition to appearances at various youth levels.

After retiring as a player, Hurmacı moved into coaching, taking charge of Bursaspor during the 2022-2023 season, and has spoken publicly about his ambition to eventually become a club president as well.
