Öztürk Karataş — Biography
Öztürk Karataş was born on 15 February 1991 in Kağızman, in the province of Kars. He is a footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder and holds both Turkish and German citizenship.
His professional path began in Germany with the reserve side of VfB Stuttgart, for whom he made his debut on 8 May 2010 in a 3. Liga match against Carl Zeiss Jena. At youth level he also represented Turkey, taking part in the 2008 European Under-17 Championship.
In later years he moved down into the lower tiers of German football, including a spell at ninth-division side FV Senden. He now serves as a player-coach at SG Nellingen, combining playing with training the team.
