Seda Sayan — Biography

Seda Sayan is the stage name of Aysel Gürsaçer, a Turkish pop-folk singer, actress and television presenter born in Istanbul. She began her music career performing in wedding halls and small nightclubs before rising to headline status as a solo singer, building a wide audience with her folk and pop repertoire. Alongside music, she appeared as an actress in films such as İmparator (1984) and in various television productions. In later years she became best known as a daytime television host, fronting numerous talk and variety shows, most notably Sabahların Sultanı Seda Sayan. She also served as a judge on the singing competition O Ses Türkiye and presented the cooking program Yemekteyiz. With a career spanning stage, screen and television, she remains one of Turkey's most recognizable entertainers.
