Serdar Özer — Biography
Serdar Özer has been a familiar face of Turkish television drama for more than two decades, working in both contemporary and period productions. Engin in Bana Sevmeyi Anlat and Cihan Şadoğlu in Hercai brought him to wider audiences. Today he plays Can Tecer in Kanal D's Güller ve Günahlar.
He came to acting after studying tourism and hotel management: following Girne American University, he made his screen debut in 2003 in Hekimoğlu. His early years brought parts in Yanık Koza, Yaralı Yürek, Küçük Kadınlar and the horror film Dabbe. The 2010s included Ay Tutulması, Dedemin Dolabı, Emret Komutanım Yeniden and Maksut in Kaderimin Yazıldığı Gün. When Bana Sevmeyi Anlat ended he soon joined Cesur ve Güzel as prosecutor Serhat, then played Yağız in Kızlarım İçin.
More recently he has also taken on period productions, notably Kıbrıs: Zafere Doğru and Kuruluş Osman, and appeared in Güzel Aşklar Diyarı and TRT 1's Bir Zamanlar İstanbul.
