Serdar Özkan — Biography
Serdar Özkan was born in 1987 in Düzce. A winger, he began his professional career in Beşiktaş's youth system, going out on loan to clubs such as İstanbulspor and Samsunspor before earning a place in Beşiktaş's first team.
He represented Turkey at various youth levels and made his senior national team debut at age 20. In 2010 he moved to Galatasaray, a transfer he later described as the biggest mistake of his career. He went on to play for clubs including Eskişehirspor, Ankaragücü, Sivasspor, and Adanaspor.
