Serkan Yalçın — Biography
Serkan Yalçın, born on 2 November 1982 in İzmir, is a former Turkish footballer who played as a defender. He began in the youth setup of Torbalıspor and then played in the academies of Bozkaya Yeşiltepe SK, Kemalpaşa Belediye Ulucak SK and Akhisar Belediyespor. He signed a professional contract in 2005, and his first official match for Soma Linyitspor came on 18 September 2005 in the 3. Lig against Burdurspor.
In 2009 he transferred to Akhisar Belediyespor and won the 1. Lig title with the club. Until 2014 he played 89 matches under Hamza Hamzaoğlu and scored once. When Mustafa Reşit Akçay took charge at Akhisar Belediyespor, he moved to Boluspor in summer 2014. Altınordu is also among his former clubs. In July 2020 he signed a new contract with Boluspor.
His brother Hüseyin Yalçın is also part of the football world, so the game became a shared profession for the two siblings.
