Sertan Erkaçan — Biography
Born on 1 April 1987 in Istanbul, Sertan Erkaçan spent his childhood and school years in Antalya, completing his primary and secondary education there. Having taken an interest in theatre and music in high school, he moved to Istanbul after graduating to attend the Theatre Department of the Müjdat Gezen Culture and Art Centre, completing the four-year programme in the spring of 2009. In his first year there, he got his first taste of film acting with a small part in Onur Ünlü's film Polis, alongside classmates.
While still studying he took guest roles in several series, and in 2009 played Gürel, a wealthy, spoiled young man, in the series Es Es. He went on to appear in Atlılar (2012), Kaçak Gelinler (2014), Acil Aşk Aranıyor (2015), Can Bedenden Çıkmayınca (2015) and Rengarenk (2016). He drew wide praise for playing Recep in ATV's Seven Ne Yapmaz in 2017, then played Alp in the series Koca Koca Yalanlar in 2018 and took a role in the series Savaşçı from 2019.
On screen, he has appeared in the films Ay Büyürken Uyuyamam (2011), Rakı Masası (2012), Arkadaşlar Arasında (2013), Sol Şerit (2015) and Azazil 2: Büyü (2015), building a filmography that spans many productions.
