Sinan Güler — Biography
Born on 8 November 1983 in Istanbul, Sinan Güler is a former Turkish basketball player who stood 1.92 meters tall and played as a guard and forward. The son of Necati Güler, a legendary İTÜ basketball player, and brother of basketball player Muratcan Güler, he played for clubs including Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, and Darüşşafaka, and served for many years — including as captain — on the Turkish national basketball team.
Güler ended his active playing career on 20 December 2022 with a farewell ceremony held during Darüşşafaka's match against Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem. Since retiring, he has become known as an angel investor and entrepreneur, launching the Sports Startups Accelerator Program in 2020.
