Taner Taktak — Biography
Taner Taktak was born on 26 January 1990 in Maaseik, Belgium, and is a footballer with both Belgian and Turkish ties. He stands 1.80 metres tall. He has played in defence and midfield as well as on the left wing, and as a youth he represented Turkey at under-17, under-18 and under-19 level.
His professional career began in 2007 at Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands. He made his debut on 22 February 2008, coming on as a late substitute in a 3-0 Eerste Divisie win over FC Eindhoven. On 8 January 2010 he signed with TFF First League side Hacettepe, together with his Fortuna teammate Abdülkerim Öcal. In 2012 he moved to Sumgayit in Azerbaijan, then played for Sandıklıspor in the Turkish fourth division.
He later turned out for Belgian lower-league sides Patro Eisden, KFC Helson Helchteren, Spouwen-Mopertingen and KVK Beringen, where he plays as a left winger in the Belgian third division.
