A Fistful of Death

A Fistful of Death (Giù la testa... hombre) is a 1971 Italian Spaghetti Western directed by Demofilo Fidani. Klaus Kinski takes the leading role, supported by genre regulars Gordon Mitchell and Giancarlo Prete, with Enzo Pulcrano and Renzo Arbore also among the performers. Fidani wrote the screenplay together with Alfredo Medori, while Lallo Gori supplied the musical score. Running about 83 minutes, the picture is representative of the cheap, quickly made westerns the Italian film industry produced in large numbers during the early 1970s. For export it was released under a variety of alternative titles: Adios Compañeros in some markets, Ich will deinen Kopf and Ich will ihn tot in Germany, and Macho Callaghan se déchaîne in France. Fidani directed numerous similar low-budget genre films throughout the decade.
