Acemi Çapkın
Acemi Çapkın is a Turkish film released in 1964. It was directed by Nejat Saydam, one of the most prolific figures of the Yeşilçam era, and stars İzzet Günay, a familiar leading man of the period. Shot in black and white and made in İstanbul, the film belongs to the busiest stretch of Turkish cinema, when hundreds of features were produced each year. Saydam worked across many genres throughout his long career, from melodrama to comedy, while Günay went on to become one of the best-remembered romantic leads of 1960s Turkish cinema.
