Love Resembles You (Aşk Sana Benzer) (translated)

Aşk Sana Benzer is a Turkish romantic drama directed by A. Taner Elhan, released in cinemas on January 23, 2015. Fahriye Evcen and Burak Özçivit headline the cast, with Özçivit also serving as one of the film's producers.

The story unfolds in a fishing town on the Aegean coast. Ali is a young man struggling to hold on to the restaurant he inherited from his family. One day Deniz, a mysterious young woman fleeing her past, arrives in town, and a deep love blossoms between them. Local residents — the ice cream seller Nebahat, the greengrocer Ayhan, the fisherman Yaşar and old Yusuf — witness their romance, but the past Deniz tried to escape soon catches up with her and threatens the couple's happiness.

Written by Bedia Ceylan Güzelce and Ziya Çelik, the film also features Selim Bayraktar, Yavuz Bingöl, Kaya Akkaya and Birsen Dürülü in supporting roles.
