Movie · 1977–1982 · 2 people

Emanuelle Around the World (original title: Emanuelle – Perché violenza alle donne?), also known as Confessions of Emanuelle, is a 1977 Italian sexploitation film directed by Joe D'Amato and written by Gianfranco Clerici. The fourth entry in the Black Emanuelle series, it adopts a noticeably darker tone than its predecessors.

The film stars Laura Gemser, George Eastman, Karin Schubert and Ivan Rassimov. It was released in two versions, a soft cut and a hard one, with the explicit scenes shot by Marina Frajese and Rick Martino. Considered a sequel to Emanuelle nera, the 102-minute Italian-language production faced censorship repeatedly and was seized three times within five months of its release.
