Bondage (Esaret) (translated)

Esaret (Captivity) is a Turkish daily drama produced by Karamel Yapım that premiered on Kanal 7 on November 21, 2022. Directed by Ayhan Özen and Serkan Mut, the series follows Orhun, heir to the Demirhan family, who is burning to avenge his sister's murder, and Hira, a woman who has lived her entire life in servitude and whom Orhun wrongly blames for the killing.

Cenk Torun and Mahassine Merabet star in the lead roles. Running for three seasons, the show concluded with its 557th episode on July 14, 2025, and also found an audience abroad, airing in Serbia (as Oteta) on Pink and in Bulgaria under the title Plen.
