The Wedding Singer (Evlilik Öpücüğü)

The Wedding Singer (Evlilik Öpücüğü) is a 1998 American romantic comedy directed by Frank Coraci and written by Tim Herlihy. Set in 1985, it follows Robbie Hart, a wedding singer who dreams of becoming a songwriter, whose path crosses with waitress Julia at a wedding. Although both are engaged to other people, they gradually realize they may be with the wrong partners.

Starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, the film marked their first on-screen collaboration, later followed by 50 First Dates and Blended. Released by New Line Cinema on February 13, 1998, it was a major commercial success, grossing about $123 million worldwide against an $18 million budget, received generally positive reviews, and is often ranked among Sandler's best comedies. The story was later adapted into a stage musical that debuted on Broadway in 2006.
