Frankenstein's Castle of Freaks

Frankenstein's Castle of Freaks (original title: Terror! Il castello delle donne maledette) is a 1974 Italian horror film directed by Dick Randall. Drawing loosely on the Frankenstein legend, it mixes mad-science fantasy with gothic horror in the low-budget exploitation style typical of Italian genre cinema of the period. The film stars Edmund Purdom and Gordon Mitchell, was shot in Italian, and runs roughly ninety minutes. It was released under different titles abroad, including Die Leichenfabrik des Dr. Frankenstein in Germany and Le Château de l'horreur in France. Blending horror with science fiction elements, it reworks the Frankenstein myth through the era's commercial exploitation-cinema lens.
