Günah Keçisi

Günah Keçisi is a 2011 Turkish comedy film. It was directed by Cenk Özakıncı and was made in Turkey in Turkish.

The story follows Şahin K, who wants to leave behind his famous and wealthy but unhappy life in Germany and settles in Bodrum in order to build a simple life. While trying to reconnect with his son Caner, who distanced himself from him years earlier because of his bad reputation, he unwillingly becomes a local hero who solves the town's problems; the fame that will not let go of him drags him into unexpected adventures.

The cast includes Şahin K, Nuri Alço, Coşkun Göğen, Turgay Tanülkü, Ferdi Kurtuldu, Şan Bingöl, Diler Öztürk and Nebil Sayın. The production was shot with digital cameras.

Günah Keçisi opened on 21 January 2011 on 100 screens across Turkey and ranked eighth at the box office in its opening weekend. That same year the film, together with Misafir and Ağır Abi, received the «Jüri Özel Tek Başlı Bamya Ödülü».
