Intermediaries

Intermediaries marked director Hassan Mohammadzadeh's debut feature, shot in Iran in 1977. The screenplay, developed from a story by Abolhassan Karimi, was written by Mehdi Ma'danian, with dialogue credited to Reza Namvar. Production took roughly a year to complete under the R-B studio banner, also known as Arby Film.

Beyk İmanverdi and Zhaleh Olov share the leading roles. As Mohammadzadeh's first full-length effort, the picture offers a glimpse into the studio-driven filmmaking culture of Iranian cinema during that period.
