Komutan (film)

The Commander is a Turkish drama, war, and action film released on October 7, 2022. Produced by Kılıç Yapım and Altaş Yapım, the film's screenplay was written by Mert Kılıç, and the lead roles are played by Mert Kılıç and Aslıhan Güner.

The film tells the story of a four-man team tasked with retrieving the bodies of Turkish soldiers who died in the al-Bab region of Syria and bringing them back to Türkiye. The clashes the team engages in with members of a terrorist organization during this mission form the main focus of the film.
