On s'en fout, nous on s'aime

On s'en fout, nous on s'aime is a 1982 French comedy directed by Michel Gérard. It is a period example of mainstream French comic cinema from the early 1980s. The cast brought together well-known comic performers of the era, including Darry Cowl and Michel Galabru, alongside Ariel Besse, Jackie Sardou, Jean Rougerie and Philippe Castelli. The title translates roughly as 'We don't care, we love each other,' and the film belongs to the broad tradition of ensemble French comedies popular with audiences at the time.
