The Glass Wall

The Glass Wall (Persian: Divar-e Shisheh'i) is a 1971 Iranian comedy film. It was directed by Samuel Khachikian, a filmmaker best known for his thrillers in Iranian cinema, from a screenplay by the prominent screenwriter Fereydun Gole.

The cast features several well-known performers of the period. Pouri Banai and Arman appear in leading roles, supported by Homa Rousta, Jaleh Sam and Dalileh Namazi. Produced in the Persian calendar year 1350 (1971), the film belongs to the commercial filmmaking tradition of pre-revolutionary Iranian cinema.

Within Khachikian's extensive filmography, The Glass Wall stands as one of his ventures into comedic territory, a departure from the suspense pictures that made his reputation.
