The Suspects (Les Suspects)
The Suspects is a French-Italian crime drama directed by Michel Wyn. Its screenplay was adapted by novelist Paul Andréota, together with Gian Paolo Callegari, from Andréota's own 1970 book La Pieuvre. As its title suggests, the story centers on characters caught up in tracking down a criminal network. The leading roles went to well-known French performers of the period, Mimsy Farmer, Paul Meurisse and Michel Bouquet. Also appearing in the cast are Michael Lonsdale, Christian Clavier and Edmund Purdom. The picture runs for roughly one hundred minutes.
