Uygar Mert Zeybek — Biography
Uygar Mert Zeybek was born on 4 June 1995 in the Osmangazi district of Bursa. The 1.78 m footballer plays in midfield and on the wing. He came through the Fenerbahçe academy and represented Turkey at under-17 and under-21 level.
He drew attention with his performances and goals in pre-season friendlies against Olympiakos and Sivasspor ahead of the 2015-16 campaign. He made his Süper Lig debut on 31 May 2015 against Kasımpaşa, replacing Emre Belözoğlu in extra time of a 2-0 home win for Fenerbahçe. In June 2016 he extended his contract with the club, but an injury and operation that same summer set back his career.
He moved to İstanbulspor in January 2019. In later years he played for Pendikspor and was loaned to Sarıyer. In February 2026 it was reported that he had transferred to an amateur-league side.
