Veli Kızılkaya — Biography
Veli Kızılkaya (born 1 February 1985 in Altıntaş, Kütahya) is a retired Turkish footballer who played as a defender.
He began his career in 1999 with amateur club Özel İdare Köyhizmetlerispor, moved to Kütahyaspor in 2001 and turned professional there in 2003. His form after a 2005 transfer to Kahramanmaraşspor earned him a call-up to the Turkey under-21 team for a match against Romania's under-21 side, his only cap, and a trial at Romanian club Dinamo Bucharest that did not lead to a transfer. After Kahramanmaraşspor were relegated to the Third League at the end of the 2007-08 season he moved to Bucaspor, where he won the Second League title and helped the club reach the Süper Lig at the end of the 2009-10 season.
He transferred to Kayseri Erciyesspor in the second half of the 2010-11 season, to Boluspor ahead of 2011-12 and to Göztepe for the 2012-13 season, before joining Adanaspor in 2013 and returning to Bucaspor for a year in 2016. He then joined Şanlıurfaspor and later Afyonspor in 2020, finishing his career at Belediye Kütahyaspor.
