Yalçın Kayan — Biography
Yalçın Kayan was born on 30 January 1999 in the Konak district of İzmir. A Turkish footballer standing 1.80 m tall, he plays as a midfielder. He began his professional career at Göztepe in 2018 and made his Süper Lig debut on 15 September 2018, in a 2-0 win over Kayserispor.
After a long spell at Göztepe he moved to Eyüpspor in January 2025, signing a contract of three and a half years in a transfer announced as the first of the Süper Lig's 2025 calendar year. In January 2026 he joined Samsunspor. He scored twice in his first match for the new club and has since worked his way into the team's midfield rotation.
Ahead of the Ziraat Turkish Cup fixtures in April 2026, he stated publicly, "We will bring the cup to this city," voicing the team's ambition.
