Yusuf Kabadayı — Biography

Yusuf Karhan Kabadayı was born on 2 February 2004 in Munich and is a German footballer of Turkish descent. Standing 1.96 m tall, he plays as a left winger or forward. He took his first steps in football in Bavaria and came through the Bayern Munich academy, spending two seasons with Bayern Munich II. As a teenager he first played for Turkey's under-15 and under-16 sides; at 17 he chose Germany instead and appeared for their under-18, under-19 and under-20 teams.

On 3 August 2023 he signed a two-year professional contract with Bayern Munich and was immediately loaned for the season to Schalke 04, who had just dropped to the 2. Bundesliga and held an option to make the move permanent. After that season he returned to Bayern, and on 4 July 2024 he signed with Bundesliga side FC Augsburg on a contract running to 2028.

On 12 September 2025 he moved to Turkey, joining Süper Lig club Gaziantep FK on an initial one-year loan with an option to buy at the end of the 2025-26 season. In January 2026 he apologised for a social-media post, and in April 2026 an argument with a fan drew wide press coverage.
