Claudia Gravy — Biography
Claudia Gravy, born Marie-Claude Perin on 12 May 1945 in Boma, then part of the Belgian Congo, later took Spanish citizenship. Living in Madrid since 1965, she made her screen debut in Fernando Fernán Gómez's adaptation of Miguel Mihura's Ninette y un señor de Murcia.
Over the following decade she became a familiar face in Spanish cinema, appearing in both domestic films and international co-productions, including a role as an Amazon in the 1975 Kilma, Queen of the Amazons. Her credits became less frequent from the 1980s onward, though she kept taking supporting parts such as in Libertarias (1996); across her career she also appeared in John the Bastard, Bad Man's River, The Nun and the Devil and Tuareg – The Desert Warrior, and in recent years has added television and theatre work.
