Dragan Mićanović — Biography

Dragan Mićanović is a Serbian stage and film actor known for international roles in Layer Cake, The White Countess and RocknRolla; he was born on 30 September 1970 in Loznica. He completed his acting training in 1988 under professor Vladimir Jevtović, and his first stage experience abroad came in a production of Hamlet at London's Globe Theatre.

Alongside his international work he also appeared in Coriolanus and Magi, and has received multiple Sterija Awards for his stage performances in Serbia. He was married to actress Ana Sofrenović, with whom he has two daughters, Iva and Lena, before the couple divorced in 2011. In 2025 he was appointed to the jury of the Sarajevo Film Festival's Competition Programme for feature films.
