Magi

Magi is a 2016 Turkish horror film directed and written by Hasan Karacadağ. Although a Turkish production, the film was shot in English and its story is set in Istanbul. It went on general release across Turkey on 29 April 2016.

At the center of the story are two sisters: Marla Watkins, who has settled in Istanbul and teaches English at a language school, and Olivia, a journalist based in New York. When Olivia learns that her pregnant sister, recently separated from her Iranian husband, is going through hard times, she rushes to Turkey; Marla falls victim to a mysterious murder on the very night Olivia arrives, drawing the journalist into a suspenseful investigation. The cast includes Lucie Pohl, Brianne Davis, Michael Madsen, Stephen Baldwin, Dragan Mićanović and Kenan Ece.
