Brianne Davis — Biography

Brianne Davis was born in Atlanta on 21 April 1982 and relocated to Los Angeles in the early 1990s to pursue acting. She made her television debut with a small part on Dawson's Creek in 2001, then broke into film in 2005 as Jake Gyllenhaal's girlfriend in Jarhead, followed by the 2008 slasher film Prom Night and American Virgin.

Much of her career has run through low-budget horror and guest television work: she appeared in Nip/Tuck, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Entourage, Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters, Body of Proof and True Blood, with recurring parts on Hollywood Heights and Murder In The First. After roles in horror titles such as The Victim and ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2, she moved behind the camera in 2014 to direct The Night Visitor 2: Heather's Story and Psychophonia. In 2016 she took a lead role alongside Barry Sloane and Walton Goggins in the History Channel series Six, the same year she appeared in the Turkish-shot production Magi. She has continued acting in series including Lucifer and Masters of Sex and films such as Dead Water (2019).
