TV Series · 2006–2011 · 2 people

Brothers & Sisters is an American family drama created by Jon Robin Baitz that ran on ABC for five seasons between 2006 and 2011. Set in the Los Angeles and Pasadena area of California, it follows the affluent Walker family. The narrative begins when family patriarch William Walker dies, an event that exposes long-concealed aspects of his life. Sally Field heads the ensemble as the devoted mother Nora Walker, while her five grown children — Sarah, Kitty, Tommy, Kevin and Justin — are portrayed by Rachel Griffiths, Calista Flockhart, Balthazar Getty, Matthew Rhys and Dave Annable. Patricia Wettig, Emily VanCamp and Ron Rifkin also appear in the cast. Love, divorce, betrayal, addiction, illness and war repeatedly strain the family, yet its members keep striving to live their own lives while holding onto their deep bond. Field's performance earned her both a Primetime Emmy and a Screen Actors Guild Award, and Griffiths collected two Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations. The series ended in 2011 after 109 episodes.
