Emir Özden — Biography

Emir Özden is best known among the younger generation of Turkish television actors for playing Ege in Masumlar Apartmanı; he then continued with the role of the young lawyer Tolga in the series Yargı. Trained in theatre, he moved from commercials to become a familiar face in TV dramas within a few years.

He began acting in high school, in the theatre department of Adıgüzel Fine Arts High School, and later studied theatre at Kadir Has University. His first series was Bir Zamanlar Osmanlı Kıyam in 2012, followed by Böyle Bitmesin and Not Defteri, and he guest-starred in Poyraz Karayel. After these small parts, his first clear step forward was the character Kömür in FOX TV's youth drama Umuda Kelepçe Vurulmaz. He then played Emre in Kanatsız Kuşlar, and in 2019 appeared on the big screen as Umut Güney in the film Bilmemek.

The turning point was Masumlar Apartmanı, broadcast on TRT 1 from 2020 to 2022, where he played Ege, the brother of İnci (played by Farah Zeynep Abdullah), an angry but family-loyal teenager. He followed it with Yargı on Kanal D, as Tolga, assistant to the character Ceylin. In 2022 he also took part in the series Oğlum.
