Gül Gölge

Gül Gölge — Biography

Gül Gölge has built a varied career that runs from a beauty-pageant runner-up place to television presenting, acting and, most recently, literature. She is best known as the host of Kanal D's Canlı Canlı, has sat on the jury of the fashion competition Gardırop Savaşları since 2016, and published her first novel, Lagom, in 2026.

She finished school at Özel Türk Koleji in İzmir, moved to Istanbul and studied film and television programming at Bilgi University. In 1997 she was runner-up at the Turkish beauty pageant. On screen she began with Nuray Yıldırım in Çiçek Taksi, then took parts in series such as Yapayalnız, Acemi Cadı, Selena and Akasya Durağı, and in the films Mezuniyet and Köpek.

Presenting became the centre of her work between 2005 and 2009 with Canlı Canlı, and her place on the fashion jury continues that side of her career. She married in 2007 and divorced in 2018; she has two sons.
