İlayda Akdoğan — Biography

İlayda Akdoğan is a Turkish actress born on July 21, 1998 in Istanbul. She started her career at the age of six in 2004, playing Seda in the children's program En İyi Arkadaşım, and went on to appear in Afacanlar Kampı (2005) and, in 2007, in the Fox series Bez Bebek as Gülay and in Sevgili Dünürüm.

She made her cinema debut in 2015 as Sonay in Deniz Gamze Ergüven's internationally acclaimed Mustang, a performance that brought her the Best Actress award at the 21st Sarajevo Film Festival along with several nominations. She then took the lead role of Elif in Umuda Kelepçe Vurulmaz (2016) and played Asuman in Star TV's Dolunay (2017). In 2020 she landed her first leading film role as Hece in Masallardan Geriye Kalan and appeared in the Netflix production Rise of Empires: Ottoman.

She later starred in Netflix's film trilogy 10 Days of a Good Man (2023), 10 Days of a Bad Man (2023) and 10 Days of a Curious Man (2024), and was part of the cast of the Disney+ series Ben Gri (2022). In 2025 she played Fatma in Show TV's series Bereketli Topraklar.
