İlayda Alişan — Biography

İlayda Alişan is one of the Turkish actresses who went from commercial sets as a child to carrying leading roles. Her first meeting with a wide audience came as Akşın Koçovalı in the second season of Çukur; in recent years she has led series such as Seversin and Ateş Kuşları. Press reports also place her in the new series Evlilik Güzeldir.

Her career runs in phases. The first was advertising, with brands such as Nestle, Coca-Cola, Ülker, Akbank and Eti. In 2011 she moved to television as Merve in Bir Çocuk Sevdim, then built experience in supporting parts in Gönül Hırsızı, Benim Adım Gültepe (Nurten) and Serçe Sarayı (Sinem), and also played in Bana Sevmeyi Anlat and Rüya. The second phase was Çukur, a show whose set she has likened to a school, and which earned her praise. Her role as Aylin Erman in Netflix's first Turkish original series, Hakan: Muhafız, carried her name abroad. The third phase includes Şampiyon, GAİN's Terapist (Özlem Narin) and Masumiyet (Ela Yüksel); she also guest-starred on Kırmızı Oda.

She became a lead with Seversin in 2022 and Ateş Kuşları in 2023, and the same year acted in the Netflix film İyi Adamın 10 Günü. She studied fashion design at İstanbul Bilgi University, and entered the industry when a friend of her father registered her with an agency without telling her.
