İrem Derici — Biography

İrem Derici, born on 21 March 1987 in Istanbul, is a Turkish pop singer and songwriter. She studied sociology at İstanbul Bilgi University and took her first steps into music as a young performer with the band Monopop on Istanbul's club scene, before reaching a nationwide audience through the 2011 season of the talent competition O Ses Türkiye.

She launched her professional career in 2012 with the single Bensiz Yapamazsın and gained attention the following year with Düşler Ülkesinin Gel Git Akıllısı. Songs such as Kalbimin Tek Sahibine, Zorun Ne Sevgilim and Değmezsin Ağlamaya climbed the charts, establishing her as one of Turkey's prominent pop voices of the early 2010s. In 2016 she released the album Dantel, and she also recorded duets with Mustafa Ceceli. Alongside her music, she appeared in the television series Jet Sosyete in 2018. She continues an active concert schedule and returned to the headlines in 2026 with her song Durum Çok Acil.
