İrem Derici — Biography

İrem Derici was born in 1987 in İstanbul.

She completed her education in the Sociology Department of İstanbul Bilgi University.

Having realized at a young age that her voice was beautiful, İrem Derici began singing in the clubs of Beyoğlu with the band Monopop when she was only 16 years old.

Her discovery came with the O Ses Türkiye competition, in which she took part in 2011.

She entered the music scene in 2012 by releasing the Melih Kibar song titled Bensiz Yapamazsın.

In 2013 she achieved a major breakthrough by releasing the song titled Düşler Ülkesinin Gel Git Akıllısı.

With the song Kalbimin Tek Sahibine, which created a great impact, she reached number one on the charts and received the Best Breakthrough Artist award.

In 2016 she released the album Dantel, and in 2017 she managed to maintain her place at the top by performing the song Kıymetlim as a duet with Mustafa Ceceli.
