Pınar Deniz — Biography

Pınar Deniz is one of the leading young lead actresses on Turkish television, best known for playing the lawyer Ceylin Erguvan in the Kanal D legal drama Yargı. The series ran from 2021 to 2024, and her on-screen partnership with Kaan Urgancıoğlu drew a great deal of viewer attention.

The first phase of her career began after her university years, in 2014, with Sil Baştan on Star TV, followed by Beyaz Yalan and Günebakan. Her real breakout came with the character Yıldız in Vatanım Sensin, from 2016 to 2018. Later she shared the lead with Berk Cankat in Bir Deli Rüzgar on FOX and then turned to streaming, playing Burcu in the Netflix series Aşk 101 and then Nazlı in Kırmızı Oda. On the big screen she appeared in Kardeşim Benim 2 and İnsanlar İkiye Ayrılır, and she kept working with Aşkın Kıyameti and the Disney+ production Yakında Avcı.

The daughter of an Arabic-speaking family of Lebanese origin, she grew up in Istanbul's Tarabya district from early childhood and studied public relations and advertising at Istanbul University. In 2017 she was named breakthrough female actress of the year at the İKÜ Kariyer Honorary Awards, and in later years she won best actress prizes at a range of university, magazine and social media awards. In 2024 she married the actor Kaan Yıldırım.
