Arkadaşım Şeytan

Arkadaşım Şeytan is a Turkish film directed by Atıf Yılmaz and released in 1988. Loosely inspired by the Faust legend, this comedy with fantasy and musical elements follows an ambitious musician who declares he would sell his soul for success — only to have the Devil take him at his word. As their bargain unfolds, he gradually discovers that people can be craftier and more ruthless than the Devil himself. Mazhar Alanson leads the cast, alongside Yaprak Özdemiroğlu and Özkan Uğur. The film is remembered as one of Atıf Yılmaz's lighter, offbeat works.
