Yaprak Özdemiroğlu — Biography
The daughter of film-score composer and arranger Attila Özdemiroğlu, Yaprak Özdemiroğlu was born on 14 August 1963 in Ankara and graduated from the Ballet Department of Istanbul University State Conservatory. She began her artistic career on stage before moving to Istanbul in 1981 to work in Yeşilçam cinema and television.
One of the prominent young actresses of 1980s Turkish film, she built a filmography that includes Şekerpare (1983), Gülüşan (1985), Yarın Ağlayacağım (1986) and Arkadaşım Şeytan (1988), alongside titles such as Dil Yarası, Damga and Fırtına Gönüller; she kept taking television roles into the 1990s and 2000s.
