Bir Irmağa Yolculuk

A Journey to a River is a 1988 Turkish drama film. Directed by Oğuz Yalçın, the screenplay was written by Zeki Göker, and the film was produced by Hakan Balamir.

The film explores the tension between a political prisoner who works as a cotton picker after being released from prison and a foreman who turns against him out of fear that his interests will be harmed. The main roles are played by Bulut Aras, Arzu Aydın, and Salih Kırmızı, while the cast also includes Nihat Nikerel as Rıza, a lawyer and presidential candidate.

Most of the filming took place in the town of Atça in Aydın.
