Yes Sir (Emret Komutanım)

Emret Komutanım is a Turkish military comedy-drama series that aired between 2005 and 2008. Produced by Altıoklar Film Prodüksiyon, the show premiered on Show TV on 23 June 2005, continued there until 2007, and then moved to Kanal 1 in 2008, running for a total of four seasons and 95 episodes.

The story follows a group of young men from very different backgrounds who report to a battalion in Anatolia to complete their compulsory military service. Far from home and the loved ones they left behind, the conscripts gradually turn their barracks into a second home, forming close friendships filled with banter, shared memories of civilian life, and dreams about the future. Their days are shaped by the strict but often humorous discipline of their commanding officers, whose authority collides with the recruits' antics to produce both comic and touching situations. The series was filmed in a former school building in Halkalı that stood in for the fictional 56th Infantry Regiment, a unit that no longer exists in the Turkish Armed Forces.
