Mustafa Üstündağ — Biography
Mustafa Üstündağ is a Turkish actor born on 11 February 1977. Sources differ on his birthplace, listing Mersin or Safranbolu in Karabük, while he spent his childhood in Adana. After graduating from the Theatre Department of the Müjdat Gezen Art Centre, he began working across stage, film and television.
He first appeared on screen in the series Yılan Hikayesi, but his real breakthrough came as Muro in Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu, a role popular enough to carry its own feature film, Muro: Nalet Olsun İçimdeki İnsan Sevgisine. His later television work included Merhamet, Bana Sevmeyi Anlat, Arka Sokaklar and Hayat Bilgisi. He played Kara Davud Pasha in Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem, Kahraman Koçovalı in Çukur, and Boran in Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz.
On the big screen he has appeared in productions such as Vay Arkadaş, Zeynep'in Sekiz Günü, Dilber'in Sekiz Günü, Abimm, Uzun Hikaye, Bu Son Olsun, Gulyabani and Kutsal Damacana 2: İt Men. More recently he joined the cast of Kuruluş Orhan as Demirhan Bey.
