Damla Sönmez — Biography

Damla Sönmez was born in 1987 in İstanbul.

She completed her education at the Theatre Department of Yeditepe University and studied two years of violin and one year of piano at the State Conservatory of Mimar Sinan University.

Damla Sönmez had her first acting experience with the series Camdan Pabuçlar in 2004; she has taken part in projects such as Güllerin Savaşı, Şubat, Türkan, Gece Gündüz, Emret Komutanım and Bir Aşk Hikayesi.

She is part of the cast of the series Aşk ve Gurur, broadcast on Show TV, in which she shares the lead with Mert Fırat and Alper Saldıran, and she portrays the character Zeynep.

She has also made her place in the world of cinema with the films Sen Aydınlatırsın Geceyi, Deniz Seviyesi, Uzun Hikaye, Çakal, Mahpeyker Kösem Sultan, Kurtuluş Son Durak and Kampüste Çıplak Ayaklar.
