Tansu Biçer — Biography

Tansu Biçer (born 1978 in Ankara) is a Turkish stage, film, and television actor. After his schooling at Karşıyaka Şemikler High School, he studied at the Theatre Department of Eskişehir Anadolu University's State Conservatory and began performing with Tiyatro Anadolu in the 2001-2002 season. He moved to Istanbul in 2002 and took part in founding the Semaver Kumpanya theater company, appearing in more than twenty of its productions. In 2009, his portrayal of Aydın in the film Beş Şehir won him the Behlül Dal Special Jury Prize at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival and the best actor award at the Istanbul Film Festival. He has since appeared in productions such as Yozgat Blues, Cinayet, and Veliaht, and in 2026 co-starred with Özgü Namal in Sarı Zarflar, a film that won the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival.
