Meral Çetinkaya — Biography

Meral Çetinkaya was born in Bursa in 1945. The master actress worked in companies such as the Bakırköy Municipal Theatres and the Dostlar Theatre. She had her first series experience in 1986 with the series Sızı, but became known and achieved a significant breakthrough in her career with the character Ayla, whom she played in the series Bizimkiler, in which she appeared in 1989. Meral Çetinkaya has taken part in many projects such as Mehmed Bir Cihan Fatihi, Anne, Muhteşem Yüzyıl, Urfalıyam Ezelden, Binbir Gece, Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki and Gülbeyaz. She plays the character Ülfet in the series İstanbullu Gelin, broadcast on Star TV, whose cast includes important names such as Özcan Deniz, Aslı Enver, İpek Bilgin, Güven Murat Akpınar, Neslihan Arslan, Dilara Aksüyek, Salih Bademci, Fatih Koyunoğlu, Neslihan Yeldan and Fırat Tanış.
